Mystery Bag Challenge
Those winter months can really drag on and on, on top of that we don’t meet in person to foster inspiration for sewing and quilting. Nevertheless, we have an exciting mini project for you to participate in between December and March when we gather in-person again. Here it is if you want to join in:
- attend the November meeting to collect a brown paper bag
- fill the bag with one fat 1/8th of fabric (width of fabric or half of a fat quarter), one embellishment (button, zipper, rick rack, etc.), one surprise item
- return to the December with your closed bag and receive a new one
- make any project you like (potholder, pouch, wall hanging, etc.) you can add more items of your own and bring it back to the March meeting
You will keep whatever you made but the fun will be seeing if you can figure out what someone else made with your mystery items.
