September Meeting
Old Business
Pubic pages for Facebook and Instagram are now set up.
New Business
Dates for our meetings are confirmed at Cookes Church.
Will attend Gathering of the Guild meeting Sept 12.
Programs
For September 2 ladies from Hospice will be speaking plus the vacation slideshow. Oct will be all quilt show prep.
Treasurer
Will set the budget after the quilt show and vote in November. All accounts moved into one. Terms cashed in.
Membership - Registration
Collecting $35 for membership fees. Payment can be made by via e-transfer, cash or cheque. Notice will be sent to the members via email. Will update membership forms with a contact person.
Newsletter
Next reports are due Sun Sept 6 or earlier.
We Care
Looking to book a sew day for Nov. 247 quilts handed in last year. Collecting 50 + for the quilt show. Will contact lady about Literacy quilt donations. Days for Girls at the quilt show and a sew a block station for We Care.
Fat Quarter
Colour for Sept - novelty prints.
Workshops
Looking into a sewing bag/caddy by Aleta.
Quilt Show
Only 15 books left to sell. Sign up volunteer sheet is filling up, will bring to the Sept meeting. Have one more meeting for the show at the end of Sept. Keep distributing flyers. Bookman store window set up is Tuesday 29. 55 quilts registered so far, need more.
