Berene Campbell of ‘HappySewLucky’ taught her workshop to signed up members and non-members of the guild. On October 15 they gathered for this fun class to learn curved piecing and how to create customized improv foundation paper pieced trees. This really playful class was suitable for all that like to be involved in the design process of making a quilt. They were encouraged to bring botanical prints or textures that might represent the four seasons, or choosing two tones of solids for a more modern feel. Everyone was successful in completely one tree and went home with the pattern and the skills to make many more.
